Excessive Amount of Acid Present in Daily Diet Can Be Harmful


There are several categories in chemical and each of them are playing significant role in various manufacturing purposes. Among such acids, Oxalic acid is a naturally occurring chemical compound that is used in various production needs and is also present in green plants such as rhubarb and spinach as well.

Although, the oxalic acid content of rhubarb is extremely high that it becomes poisonous. It promulgates a prominent taste to beet greens and chard that sometimes seems unpleasant. The acid naturally presents in almonds, chocolate, bananas, parsley, tea, and other plant with high chlorophyll content. It can also form various salts when combined with minerals like magnesium and calcium and also is used to prepare different sauces and dips but with very careful composition.

Besides, having high oxalic acid; spinach has a lot more to offer by its nutrients. There are numerous wild plants that are rich in oxalic acid type that mainly grow at warm areas and deserts. People using such green plants in great quantity can harm human health and a very high dose of this chemical acid can be toxic for people. So, it is recommended to the people to use such plants in limited quantity so that the acid present in them cannot harm their health.
